Jackie and Steven‘s Michigan fall wedding was a dream come true! Their first look brought so many emotions out, I was holding back the tears behind my camera. I absolutely love first looks because they allow the couple to spend time together before the ceremony. It helps ease their nerves and gives them a moment to just enjoy each others company without an audience watching them. Once the first look with Jackie and Steven was over and they spent some time together, we jumped right into portraits! By doing it this way we had plenty of time to get them done before the ceremony started. Which then allowed them to greet their guests during cocktail hour without feeling rushed.

After the ceremony, Jackie and Steven went on a boat ride while I captured some fun photos of the two of them. We then went to the reception where some amazing speeches were given, tasty food was eaten, and lots of dancing was done. The dance floor was popular all night and the live band kept the guests on their feet! I had such a fantastic time and I am truly honored that this amazing couple asked me to photograph their day. I wish them all the love, laughter, and adventures together!
