Heather and Trevor eloped at the beautiful Wetmore Landing in Marquette, Michigan. It was a gorgeous day in September and the weather was just perfect! The leaves hadn’t started changing yet but you could feel the fall breeze. They had a few friends join them on their special day, it was so fun having them there to congratulate them and share in the love. Their waterfront ceremony had me smiling the whole time. The intimate setting allowed for a more personal feel. Tons of laughter and some happy tears were shed while they read vows to each other. After the ceremony, we adventured around and got some stunning photos to capture their beautiful day.

If you’ve been thinking about eloping but you’re still on the fence, I say go for it!! It’s the perfect way to start your life with your special someone. Eloping allows you to marry the love of your life without all the stress and busyness of planning a wedding. You can wear whatever you want, go wherever you want, and make it exactly the way you want! I love how intimate and comfortable elopements are. It’s just you and your partner, and maybe some friends and family sprinkled in. Capturing those moments and memories is my favorite thing and it’s always an honor to be included.
