Kelsey & Andy got married in Copper Harbor in May!

Kelsey got ready at the Spirit of the North Wellness Center, aka one of the most relaxing places I have ever stepped foot in, while Andy got ready at the Harbor Haus Restaurant which is also where the ceremony & reception were held.

Kelsey & Andy met at Michigan Tech University 12 years ago & had reconnected on Facebook. Get this: their first date was in Colorado to go on a climbing adventure! Talk about a first date for the books!

I would also like to add that video chat is a wonderful tool & it’s in times like this that it’s truly appreciated! Andy’s siblings weren’t able to attend the wedding due to COVID-19 but that didn’t stop his brother Fenn from sharing his best man speech over Zoom. Their father was able to Zoom with Andy’s siblings during the first dance between Andy & his mom & believe me when I say that tears were shed. Even from thousands of miles away, with the invention of video chat, they were able to celebrate together!
